About Me

I am a Java & Website Backend Developer with skills in a wide variety of web technologies, both client-side and server-side. I express my creativity through technology and enjoy creating innovative solutions to problems. I am eager to embrace new ideas, methodologies and technologies to expand my knowledge.

I have more than 4 years experience in the IT industry via teaching myself Languages. I have also completed several web development projects in my own time. One of my favourite projects that I designed was a Web-based portal for a Minecraft Server Network which controls the status of all of the Java-based servers and allows you to make edits to the Databases depending on your user level.

Volunteering Experience

Action for Children Young Ambassadors are here to represent the young people of Action for Children across the UK, but day-to-day they attend events, help with fundraising and campaigns, speak at conferences and share our stories and experiences of our time in the services. I have been down to London to have meetings with the CEO of Action For Children (Sir Tony Hawkhead) and have met with numerous people from the organisation to help make decisions about the organisation and my most recent trip down there was to interview trustees for a seat on the Board of Trustees. I have visited the House of Lords for an Awards ceremony where we got to vote on who won the awards. I have also done interviews for the Board of Trustees Chair and the Managing Director of Operations for the Charity. These interviews were held in the London offices. The most recent event that i have attended was the 2016 Birmingham ByteNight.
